We really enjoy working with members of the Boulder Community. So when the opprtunity to work with our own local university came about, we felt ready to do something big. At the CU-Boulder Environmental Center, big ideas are what motivate students to make big contributions to conservation and environmental sustainability.

Sensing they needed to establish a sustainable model for repurposing the vinyl banners hung throughout the CU-Boulder campus, members of the CU-Boulder Environmental Center came to us with an impressive amount of material. Even more impressive was the scope of the proposed idea.

The CU Environmental Center is the nation’s largest and most accomplished student-led center of its kind. By translating student leadership into action and engaging the campus community, the Center helps CU-Boulder to become a global leader in sustainability.

Together we turned this material into over 4,000 one of a kind, ID-wallets. The intention being, that each incoming freshman student will be given one as a way to keep student ID’s and other important identifyers safe and stored in one place. Furthermore, they wanted to extend a message to incoming students that CU-Boulder places a high priority on sustainability and environmental awareness.

We tip our hats to all those involved at the CU Environmental Center for thinkning big and for giving new students exposure to sustainable designs.
