Green Guru Gear is a high quality, high performance outdoor gear line designed with reclaimed, recycled and sustainable materials for the outdoor enthusiast.

We reclaim and incorporate vinyl billboards and banners, tractor and bicycle inner tubes, climbing ropes, and wetsuit neoprene into cool and functional products. These materials are chosen due to their difficult-to-recycle nature.

By repurposing discard into new raw materials, we not only create a completely sustainable product but also reduce amazing amounts of local landfill waste. This serves our local community and can yours when you become a Reclamation Partner.

Metrics

Because much of the material used in the production of our gear is either reclaimed or recycled, we track many metrics that relate to materials used, and discarded.

Many of these metrics are used directly for sustainability testing, which gives us exacting amounts of materials diverted from landfills, CO2 profiles and many other salient data.

Our Materials

Green Guru and Goddess Gear utilize reclaimed materials that divert waste from local landfills and when necessary the highest quality new materials.

Vinyl Billboards are thrown away in alarming quantities and can be reused with little processing for totally unique graphic applications.

Rubber Inner Tubes lose their ability to hold air as they age yet do not biodegrade easily. We use these tubes in many of our products for a durable, leather-like appearance.

Wetsuit Neoprene is another difficult-to-recycle material that we repurpose into cool lifestyle products. Great insulative and protective properties make this a perfect material to use with beverages and electronics.

Nylon Climbing Ropes have great uses after their short lifecycle. Perfectly good to use for non-weight bearing applications, these ropes have great colors and textures which only adds to the uniqness of our products.
