The Town of Frisco, Colorado, created a strategic plan for 2014-2016 and guiding legislation that would help to make the town a better place to live. Their action plan has many components, but listed below are a few important ones.
- Promote sustainability,
- Assure a financially sound Town government,
- Pursue a balanced and sustainable local economy
- Enhance community amenities
- Foster proactive community involvement and communication
- Implement environmental stewardship and sustainability plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
- Participate in regional efforts to consider more efficient recycling services and waste management
Frisco came to Ecologic Designs with the idea that their old media could be given a new life, and utilized for other functions.
Ecologic Designs worked with the Town of Frisco to design and create custom and unique tote bags and zipper pouches from their street media (banners, mesh, and signs) which were out of date, but still able to be up-cycled into beautiful bags that will be sold by Frisco.
Ecologic Designs created two different tote bags, one Horizontal, and the other Vertical, as well as a Zipper pouch.
