At Ecologic Designs, we believe that a building’s story shouldn’t end in a landfill. That’s why we partnered with HVSF to ensure this legendary structure received the encore it deserved.
Preserving Architectural History
When an organization transitions to a new building, the original structures are often forgotten or discarded. But for HVSF, the tent was a character in its own right. It weathered decades of Hudson Valley storms and witnessed thousands of standing ovations.
Sensing a need to honor this legacy, HVSF partnered with Ecologic Designs to deconstruct the high-performance architectural fabric and transform it into a limited-edition collection.
The Transformation: From Tent to Tote
We’ve deconstructed the original architectural-grade vinyl of the HVSF canopy and meticulously transformed it into a limited-edition collection of functional relics.
We didn’t just “recycle” a tent; we preserved a milestone. We took the heavy-duty, weather-resistant vinyl and engineered a custom fleet of functional gear for the HVSF community:
This project serves as a blueprint for non-profits and institutions worldwide. By upcycling their “old home” into their “new future,” HVSF achieved three critical goals:
