University of the Pacific Creates Upcycled Custom Luggage Tags from Old Banners

The University of the Pacific is committed to creating a campus culture that advances a sustainable future. For the past three years, the Sierra Club has named them one of the nation’s top 100 “Cool Schools” for sustainable and green efforts.

One way that University of the Pacific is doing this is through partnership with Ecologic Designs. We helped turn what would conventionally be considered “landfill waste” into something new and useful! They sent us expired campus banners to make into luggage tags.

We produced 500 luggage tags that’ll be handed out as gifts to the students. Fully customizable, the University of the Pacific opted to add rivets and custom, adjustable, vegan leather straps to the tags. Here at Ecologic Designs, we are open to customization and design innovations!

There are so many ways to repurpose materials and many materials that can be upcycled. Ecologic Designs is here to aid in that process! Click here to start your own project.
